SHIPPING

Who do we ship with?

AUSTRALIA: 
All domestic parcels will be shipped via Couriers Please or Australia Post and will require signature upon delivery.   
 
INTERNATIONAL: 
All international orders under $6,000 will be sent with DHL Express Couriers. This is an expedited service and will require signature upon delivery.  
All international orders over $6,000 will be sent with FedEx. This is an expedited service and will require signature upon delivery.  

Where do we ship from?

Melbourne, Australia. 

Tracking

All orders are fully trackable. Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will be provided with tracking details so you can follow the intrepid journey of your piece. 

Insurance

All shipments are covered by our marine cargo insurance policy. In the unlikely event your parcel is lost or damaged, we will provide you with a replacement or full refund.

INTERNATIONAL sales over $500 AUD: 
Because we are also particularly fond of you distant comrades, we provide free shipping with tracking and insurance on all sales over $500 AUD! 
 
INTERNATIONAL sales under $500 AUD:
Will be shipped with tracking and insurance
$25 AUD flat rate to New Zealand  
$45 AUD flat rate everywhere else 

Duties & Taxes

Purchases made outside of Australia may incur taxes and duties applied by your local customs office. Tax, duty and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the total at checkout.   

Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country.

All made to order items will be processed and dispatched within 1 – 6 weeks (as per Production Timeline section on product page above price). This is additional to shipping times. 

Expedited service

If you require a faster delivery please contact us and we will advise if it is possible to expedite the production and/or shipping times of your order. There may be an additional charge for this service. 

PO Box delivery

Neither FedEx, DHL nor Couriers Please will deliver to PO Boxes. Please contact us if you would like this to take place and we will do our best to accommodate you.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Returns Policy

We offer refunds or exchanges on all in-stock* items purchased through our online shop: 

- Items must be returned to us within 21 days from date of delivery.  
- Returned items must be unworn, in original condition & packaging and accompanied by the order number. 
- We will not process a refund or exchange until we have received the returned item and have assessed that it is in original condition.  
- All refunds will be processed using the original payment method and will not include shipping costs. 
- Return shipping is at your expense. 
- We reserve the right to deny unreasonable repairs, returns, and exchanges.

"This style is currently in-stock and will ship within 1-3 business days."  

All other items are ‘made to order’ and may not be eligible for refund or exchange. Please contact us before purchasing a 'made to order' item if you think you may want to exchange or return the item. In some cases we can make exceptions. We will advise whether or not a return will be possible with your desired item.

What can be returned?

In-stock* items in original condition, and in original packaging, purchased through juliadeville.com are eligible for exchange or refund. Items returned in any condition other than original may be rejected and sent back to the customer at the discretion of Julia deVille.

All other items are ‘made to order’ and may not be eligible for refund or exchange. Please contact us before purchasing a 'made to order' item if you think you may want to exchange or return the item. In some cases we can make exceptions. What cannot be returned?

- Gift certificates cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged. 
- Items with personalised engraving cannot be returned. 
- Items marked 'final sale' cannot be returned. 
- Worn, altered or damaged items cannot be returned. 
- Bespoke, custom and made to order items are not eligible for returns or exchanges, however a resizing/alteration service is available. This service may incur a fee.

How do I process a return for an online purchase?

Before you send any item back, your return must first be authorised by us. 

Please contact us within 21 days from delivery if you would like to return an item for exchange or refund

The subject line must read: “Return: (your name and order number)”. Please let us know in the body of the email the item/s you wish to return and if you would like an exchange or refund. 

We will confirm whether your item is eligible for return and if so will provide a return postal address. Return shipping costs will be at your expense. 

The order number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. Additionally, returns should be shipped with a service that provides a tracking number and insurance, as we are not responsible for delayed or lost packages. Any returns received without a return authorization number or that do not comply with the above may be denied at the discretion of juliadeville.com. 

Once your item is received in original condition, we will process your refund/exchange. 

Exchanges

If you have returned your item and would like it exchanged for another size or product, you will be issued with a store credit that you may use towards your next purchase. Please note that all store credits are valid for 6 months only. If you require more time, please contact us and we may be able to arrange an extension.

Refunds

We will not process a refund until we have received the returned item and have assessed that it is in original condition.  

Original shipping fees are not refundable.  

A refund will be issued back to the original method of payment for the returned item. We require up to 5 business days of receiving the item at Julia deVille to process the refund. Financial institutions may require additional days to process the refund before the funds are returned to the account. 

We will not approve refunds for bespoke, custom and made to order items. However, we do offer a resize/alteration service at a fee. 

I’m not sure if my item is eligible for a return. What should I do?

If you are unsure as to whether or not your item is eligible for a return, please contact us for clarification.

What if my item is lost or damaged in transit on its journey back to Julia deVille?

Returns should be shipped with a service that provides a tracking number and insurance, as we are not responsible for delayed or lost packages. Any returns received without an order number or that do not comply with the above may be denied at the discretion of Julia deVille.

What if I received my item and it is faulty?

All pieces of jewellery are checked for quality before packaging and shipping. If you have received your item and you feel it is faulty, please contact us within seven days of receipt of delivery. We will replace or repair any item that we assess to contain a fault.
